Bright Horses
Bright Horses is a choreographic work for six performers — three pairs of twin siblings — that explores how family relationships both reflect and resist the competitive structures of contemporary capitalism. Through three parallel choreographic dialogues, each pair navigates territories of conflict, aggression, grief, farewell, and affection, revealing the family as a site where broader social forces are embodied and negotiated. Moving between belonging and estrangement, the work turns lived experience into a performative landscape where care becomes a political act. By inverting the logic of competition in contemporary society, Bright Horses proposes intimacy as a space of resistance and the possibility of other ways of being together.
